Responsibility for content

We write this site carefully. The water hardness figures come from the published data of water utilities and public health regulators, and every page names its source. We reproduce them faithfully, but we did not produce them: a utility can change its sources, and the figure can move without us knowing. For any decision that matters technically, the figure published by your own utility is the one that counts.

The site links to third-party sites. We have no control over what they publish and we are not responsible for it.

Dispute resolution

The site does not sell online, so no purchase dispute can arise from it at present. If that changes, the relevant alternative dispute resolution routes will be named here.

EU consumers can in any case approach the alternative dispute resolution bodies recognised in their own country. UK consumers keep the ADR routes available under UK law. The status and address of the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform must be confirmed before launch — we are not naming it here until that check is done.
